Charles Noble is a relative of mine on a different side of the family. It was said he refused to marry Anna because he did not want to divorce his wife. I found a marriage certificate indicating Anna and Charles were married on January 18, 1923 in Port Arthur, Jefferson, Texas. Charles family was shocked to find out he married Anna. They insist he never divorced his wife he left in Arkansas. No divorce decree has been located.
