Funny Stories

Miniature Pinschers are full of energy and bring much joy and entertainment to anyone that owns them.

Following are a few stories about mine.

Funny stories about fur kids

Iyara was only 6 pounds when I got her.  We went to Petsmart and she got a Rhodesian Ridgeback to bow to her.  It was a truly funny sight.

When I took Iyara to the trainers to stay, she went and bopped a cat with both of her paws on his face. He did it back to her with his claws and he scratched her eyes. No that was not funny. She was always bopping anyone she met, which would cause her to get bit. Now she avoids cats and keeps her paws to herself.

Iyara's best friend was a Great Dane. He was so patient and gentle with her. Iyara acted like she was on speed all the time and he just sat there and let her yap at his ankles when he could have easily squashed her. Unfortunately he passed away.

Iyara was afraid of everything when I got her. She would not even jump on/off the couch or go up/down the stairs. I took her to a friends lake house and we were driving up the gravel driveway pass the cows. Suddenly Iyara jumped out of the moving car and ran to a calf. I was shocked and scared. The mother snorted on Iyara and she ran faster than I had ever seen. When she got to me she shook and peed. I believe she thought it was her Great Dane friend. She has not jumped from the car since.

When I got Chance I bought him a soft crate where I put him in while I was at work. I came home from work at lunch and he met me at the door. Same when I returned for the day. I was totally surprised to see him and I could not figure out how he got out. He was very happy to see me. After a few days of this, I caught him unzipping his crate from the inside. I had to get a luggage lock to make sure he stayed in his crate. Smart little boy.

There is a 4-5 foot brick wall separating the end of our lot and the easement.  Iyara likes to run the edge of it instead of getting her paws wet. One day, Chance walked over to her and bumped her off the 4 1/2 foot wall. I could hear her struggling to gain her footing. It was too funny and fortunately she was not hurt.
